CHALLENGE
Plants Partner, one of Japan’s largest flower wholesalers, faced a disruption to its core revenue streams during COVID. With operations rooted in analog processes such as fax orders and in-person transactions, the business needed to transition to a digital B2B model and capture new demand.

SOLUTION
Through market research and workshops with company leadership, we defined a new B2B service strategy and business concept, identifying opportunities to transform how the company operates. We then led the development of the platform end-to-end, from service design to naming, identity, and website, ensuring the experience aligned with both business goals and user needs. The platform modernized the purchasing process and supported the company’s first-year revenue target of 100 million yen.

DESIGN PROCESS
The identity draws from the concept of “function,” represented by a keyboard function key, symbolizing the shift from analog to digital. It also reflects multiple meanings, to operate, to serve, and to connect, positioning the platform as both a tool and a connector.
