CHALLENGE
To create a flyer for Milan Design Week that could act as a business card while standing out in an environment where most printed materials are quickly overlooked or discarded. The piece also needed to communicate the distinctiveness of the studio’s design at a glance, while remaining memorable enough to be kept.
SOLUTION
We designed a flyer that transforms into a three-dimensional object when folded, inspired by the studio’s origami-based textile practice. Rooted in the concept of “container,” a recurring theme in the designer’s work, the piece functions not just as a flyer, but as an interactive object that reflects the studio’s design philosophy.
DESIGN PROCESS
The structure was engineered to hold visually from all angles once assembled. Various geometric forms were explored before arriving at a square format that balanced foldability and portability. Fold lines were integrated into the design to ensure accessibility for an international audience, supported by a short instructional video created for Instagram.
